Nokia 7205 with Verizon Wireless!!

Nokia 7205 Intrigue is Packed with Music and Productivity Features; Verizon Wireless Customers Can Customize Their Contacts with Habitat Mode

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., and WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Just in time for spring, Verizon Wireless and Nokia (NYSE: NOK), the world leader in mobility, today introduced the availability of the Nokia 7205 Intrigue. The sophisticated Nokia 7205 Intrigue will turn heads with its black exterior, hidden-until-lit external display, internal color keypad and support for exciting multimedia and music features. This multifunctional new Nokia device is now available on the nation's most reliable wireless network beginning today in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and through the company's online store at www.verizonwireless.com.

The Nokia 7205 Intrigue's unique external display blends into its smooth black exterior; then when an incoming call or text is received, the display instantly illuminates. Customers can view incoming text messages, play their favorite songs from V CAST Music with Rhapsody®, or turn off the alarm clock to snooze a little longer – all from the external display. The Nokia 7205 Intrigue opens to reveal a gradient color keypad, available in silver-fade or pink-fade finishes with a different directional key for each finish.

Beyond its hip looks, the Nokia 7205 Intrigue is packed with entertainment services and productivity tools, including V CAST Music with Rhapsody and Visual Voice MailSM. V CAST Music with Rhapsody allows customers to choose from more than 5 million songs over the air, download the master copy of their songs to their PCs free of digital rights management software and sync their favorite tracks, albums and playlists from their PCs to their phones. Visual Voice Mail helps customers to prioritize their messages. The Nokia 7205 Intrigue has a microSD™ optional removable memory with up to 8 GB for additional storage.

The large, bright display on the Nokia 7205 Intrigue includes a nature-inspired design setting called Habitat mode, exclusively designed by Nokia and only available with Verizon Wireless service. When the Habitat mode is activated, contacts are presented in chronological order, providing an engaging and intuitive way for customers to track, visualize and connect with their contacts. Customers can also customize each contact with a photo or icon.

Additional features of the Nokia 7205 Intrigue include:

· One-touch dedicated camera/video button and a 2.0 megapixel camera with flash

· Ability to upload photos to customers' favorite social networking sites

· Bluetooth® profiles supported: headset – Headset, HFP, DUN, Stereo, PBAP, BPP, OPP (vCard & vCal), FTP, BIP

The Nokia 7205 Intrigue also has several features that promote environmental awareness. The phone comes with a built-in reminder to alert customers to unplug the charger from the wall when their phone is fully-charged, and it ships with a low no-load charger that helps save on energy use. Furthermore, it even comes packaged in Nokia's compact packaging made from 100 percent recyclable materials.

New Iphone!!! Its Gonna Be HOT!!!!!

New iPhone announcement around mid-June (duh)
New iPhone will be faster and have a more seamless experience unmatched by any device (could be just talking about 3.0, but we think it’s also a new iPhone)
U-Verse iPhone application; will allow control of your home DVR (play, pause, rewind, etc.)
The annual iPhone launch is “becoming a tradition.”
Nothing official is being confirmed, but they said that people should prep for an exciting time this summer.
AT&T is said to be working with Apple to create a unified product with an unparalleled experience across all their products and services.
Apple’s 3.0 software should tell us where the iPhone platform is going… uh, k?
They said customers shouldn’t need to choose from AT&T’s high-end devices because of features, they should choose based on preferences. The gap in capability should be filled with the new iPhone. Ok, bets on slide out QWERTY, autofocus camera, video sharing, blah blah?
Seems like the higher speed HSDPA (7.2Mbps) is being hinted at too which should confirm the earlier rumors of the new Infineon chipset.
The $99 3G netbook will start selling this summer, and the first one won’t be a Windows OS.
For clarification, the above is 100% confirmed.

Acer Phones

The world's third largest computer vendor last month announced four new 3G touchscreen smartphones that use Microsoft's Windows Mobile OS. (Read a story about Acer to launch first non-Windows smartphone.)

The DX900 will be available by the end of this month, according to Vincent Chen, manager of product marketing at Acer's Smart Handheld Business. The device is a 3G touchscreen smartphone that holds two SIM cards. One of the SIM card slots supports high speed downlink packet access, while the other supports EDGE.

The Acer X960 will be out by early next month. The device has a 2.8-inch touchscreen as well as a five-way navigation button under the screen. It includes GPS functions, a 3.2-megapixel digital camera, music player and more.

The company's two premium handsets, M900 and F900, which sport 3.8-inch touchscreens, will be on world markets later in the second quarter.

The F900 is the more stylish of the two, thinner and meant for just about anyone. The M900 has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and is aimed at business users.

Iphone App : SoundCurtain for $0.99

Sound Curtain is a very, very simple noise masking app that works on the iPhone when you're wearing a set of mic-enabled headphones. It performs much better than its $0.99 price would imply.

There's three options: White noise, rainfall and harmonic tones. The white noise is decent if you've been using a white noise machine for a while, but the rainfall and harmonic tones can actually relax you in addition to its noise masking properties.

They're no comparison to actual noise-canceling headphones, but for $0.99, they made the ridiculous construction mess outside less of a nuisance—probably even tolerable.

Nokia 5800 is Back!

Looks like the nokia 5800 is back on sale for the US markets. Apparently they have updated the firmware and the 3G connectivity issues are gone!!!! Awesome!!

New Images of the Blackberry Niagra Surface!

That’s right people, it’s getting closer. We can almost taste it now in fact. The CDMA answer to the BlackBerry Bold 9000 and Curve 8900 has just popped up in a new round of live shots, this time a bit more clear than the last round. We also get a pretty clear glimpse of the back this time around, which could be a good thing or a bad thing. Apparently the faux leather on the Bold battery cover isn’t polarizing enough so RIM decided to up the ante. Yikes. What do you guys think — love it, hate it or who cares just give me a sexy new CDMA BlackBerry already?! Hit the jump for the shot of the back.

New Iphone app " Have 2PEE"

I wonder why no one ever though of this b4. this seems like an awesome app..
Have2P tracks every public restroom around you, giving you directions through the iPhone's Maps application. It will also tell you what toilets are for customers—please-coffee-brb!—and what are truly public restrooms.

But most importantly, it will give you bathroom reviews. Yes, my lovelies, bathroom reviews. This thing will tell you if a restroom is so dirty that it will require you to step inside, holding to the door as if you were Spiderman, then taking off your jeans and knickers like the Great Houdini, all while trying holding your bag and coat with your neck. Or, if you are lucky, find a place so clean that will at last be able to abandon your apartment and move there.

The best part: Have2P is free, free, free, free as in pee
